ABOUT

Tammy is a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate. She is the mother of two kids and a wife of 25 years. Tammy started working in the mental health community in 1994. Tammy has 24 years’ experience as a military wife and has lived in 9 states during that time. She has first hand experience of being a solo mother during deployments and a multitude of TDYs. Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage children. After military retirement, Tammy and her family has settled in the beautiful Pikes Peak Region, near the City Above the Clouds.

Education, Credentials, and Training:
  • Tammy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Family studies from Southeast Missouri State University and her Master of Arts Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University.
  • Tammy is licensed as a Colorado Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate.
  • Tammy is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
  • Tammy is obtaining her Colorado Addiction Counseling (CAC) license.
  • Tammy’s Master’s Internship was in Emotional Focused Therapy at the Alliant Couple and Family Clinic in San Diego, California.
